Welcome back for today's Creative Deck Profile, and this time we're showcasing another hybrid inspired by one of Konami's sample lists. We're combining the Tachyon and Shining Sarcophagus themes into one strategy. I'm no stranger to making hybrid decks with either of these themes, so be sure to check out some of my other Tachyon and Shining Sarcophagus builds on my channel! Enough said about the past, let's talk about the Tachyon theme first. This deck is all about turboing R8NK Xyz Summons, specifically Dragons. Once it brings out Dragluxion, everything goes up to 11 with the effect of Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon Primal, as regardless of where it is summoned, it will let its owner tutor a Tachyon S/T. While this will often be used to tutor Tachyon Transmigration, the theme's Counter Trap that can negate all effects on the chain, it can also be leveraged to tutor Seventh Tachyon, a Normal Spell that serves as the bridge between both halves of the deck today. Seventh Tachyon can of course reveal a Number 107: Galaxy-Eyes Tachon Dragon to tutor any of your Level 8 Dragons, but it also can reveal Number 106: Giant Hand to grab your copy of Gadget Trio and begin doing Shining Sarcophagus plays.

That segues perfectly into the Shining Sarcophagus portion of the deck, a group of monsters that all support the Continuous Spell, Shining Sarcophagus. While it is on the field, Silent Magician Zero can negate an activate Spell Card or effect, Gandora-G the Dragon of Destruction gains the ability to wipe the field, and Moremarshmallon becomes an annoying wall that summons another one of itself when destroyed. It also gives you Turn Silence, a Quick-Play Spell that can chain to a monster effect activation and negate it, while Shining Sarcophagus and a monster that mentions it is on the field. In a few words, the Shining Sarcophagus theme just offers a solid base - you know what you are getting with their cards, and with their high consistency between Sarc itself, Gadget Trio, and Future Silence, you are set.

The final theme at play here are Chazz's Light and Darkness Chaos Dragons, freshly joining the TCG in INFO. With Light End Sublimation Dragon and Dark End Evaporation Dragon, they can become additional material for your R8NK Xyz Summons or can Fusion Summon Light and Darkness Dragon Lord. They also combine extremely well with the new Protostar Dragon of the Void, a Level 8 Fusion that can make a Level 4 LIGHT or DARK Dragon become Level 8, if your opponent happens to stop your Tachyon Cloudragon mid-combo. Anyways, all of these themes combine to form a heavy beatdown deck, chalk full of imposing Dragons. What better way is there to celebrate Yu-Gi-Oh!?
