Welcome to a new Creative Deck Profile, and today I've compiled an awesome hyper hybrid deck that makes the most of the new Valkyrie generic support cards among the TCG World Premiere cards in Alliance Insight. If you're unfamiliar with the Valkyrie archetype, this LIGHT/Fairy theme has a variety of Levels that love to Special Summon, leverage Continuous Spell Cards in unique ways, and end the duel in a double Battle Phase due to Mischief of the Time Goddess. While that last part is not quite the focus of today's build, let's talk about how the new cards all support the Valkyrie gameplan. First up is Hrimnir the Divine Follower, a new Level 9 LIGHT Fairy that Special Summons itself if sent to the GY by card effect, then, it can Tribute 3 Fairy monsters from the hand/field to set a Continuous Spell from your deck. This obviously synergizes well with Diviner of the Herald, but it also gets you access to the best new card of the three, Vingolf's Blessing. On activation, this just sends a LIGHT Fairy from the Deck to the GY, but its more important effect is the third - when sent to the GY, it Special Summons a Level 4 or lower LIGHT Fairy from your GY. Not only does this synergize extremely well with Valkyrie Sigrun's summon effect, but it also works even if detached from the Jormungandr, Generaider Boss of Eternity you definitely will be summoning in this deck. The third and final new TCG-ALIN support card is Dawn Angel Kambi, giving you even more access to Diviner of the Herald or Valkyrie Sechste, not that you needed more access!
So that's the first few parts of today's deck, let's get into the Fusion components with the Gem-Knights. Long story short, the new Gem-Knight support coming out next month in Battles of Legend: Monster Mayhem is the other key component to helping this deck to excel, as Gem-Knight Nepyrim summons itself whenever sent to the GY from the hand or Deck. From there, it gets you Gem-Knight Hollowcore, and that enables the rest of your plays including getting an extra Normal Summon from Gem-Knight Seraphinite or three free monsters during the opponent's turn from Gem-Knight Master Diamond Dispersion. The free Fairy Gem-Knights actually matter, as that turns into perfect fodder for Trias Hierarchia, Special Summoning itself from the GY during the opponents turn, destroying a card they control, and drawing you 2 cards - isn't that nice? If you don't want to just Tribute your Fairies, you can also turn to using them as material for the Link Summon of Protector of The Agents - Moon, sending Majesty Hyperion to the GY, and setting yourself up to utilize Celestial Knightlord Parshath to tutor any Fairy monster once you grab Sanctuary in the Sky off of The Agent of Life - Neptune. Knightlord also happens to Special Summon even more Fairies from your hand, eliminating any bricks you would otherwise be stuck with.
The final piece to this puzzle is using your remaining monsters to empower your board with additional endpieces. You can turn any two monsters with the same Type and Attribute into Herald of Mirage Lights, letting you negate a S/T activation or effect. You can turn any two monsters into Artifact Dagda, adding the pressure of two Artifact Moralltach to your board that will destroy two of your opponent's cards during their End Phase if they can't finish you off. Or you can turn your LIGHT/DARK Fairies into Chaos Angel. All of these options are great, and truly add to the amazing versatility of this deck. I know folks have been waiting for me to cover Valkyrie for quite some time now, so I hope I did it justice with this really awesome build, but please let me know your thoughts in the comments below if you want to see some of my other ideas for the new TCG-ALIN support!
