Welcome to the next Creative Deck Profile, this time kicking off a full week of profiles inspired by the new June 2023 F/L list for the TCG! This week starts off with a bang, as the Spright archetype joins forces with an Evol and Nimble engine to Xyz and Link Summon your way to victory - using Level and Rank 2 monsters of course. For the Spright side of the deck, this archetype of DARK and FIRE Thunder monsters exists to extend your plays continuously, whether it is building up to Gigantic Spright or using Spright Sprind to get something essential to the GY. Either way, all you need is a Level 2 monster to begin summoning your Sprights from the hand, such as Spright Blue, Spright Jet, or Spright Red. As for the Level 2 aspect, that's where the Evol engine comes in.
Evoltile Phoris will be the new Level 2 Reptile Evol monster of choice, as when it is summoned, it can summon another Evoltile from your hand or GY. Additionally, it can tutor an Evo-Force from your deck, which in turn can be used to Tribute Phoris and summon an Evolsaur Rios from your deck, which tutors an Evo-Singularity which will be live during the opponent's turn to summon out Evolzar Razh. Even if all this doesn't go to plan and you end up drawing Rios, you can rely on summoning it naturally, then sending an Evoltile from the Deck to the GY to make itself and another monster Level 2 to enable Spright shenanigans. As for the Nimble engine, this has been a part of the most explosive Spright decks for a while, as Spright Angler can be sent from the Deck to the GY with Sprind, giving you two Nimble Beaver to work with. All that said, the impending Semi-Limit of Spright Starter doesn't slow this deck down, especially since you have so many other great Level 2 engines bolstering the deck. Spright could be a force to be reckoned with, especially once the new Evol support drops in the next core set for the TCG!
