Celebs Look The Part In RAF Charity Football Clash
A group of Royal Air Force footballers have been raising money for charity by taking on a celebrity select eleven in Northampton. Complete with a flypast before kick-off, the team, from RAF bases all around the country, lost 2-3 in the match played at Sixfields Stadium, the home of Northampton Town Football Club. The celebrity team included TV presenter Jeff Brazier and radio star Cel Spellman, and was captained by actor Danny Miller, known for his role as Aaron in Emmerdale, and co-founder of Once Upon a Smile, a bereavement charity. OUAS and Help for Heroes benefited from the ticket sales for the game. Head to http://forces.net/sport for more forces sport.
