Game user experience (UX) is still a new mindset in the video game industry and comes with specific challenges considering that games need to be both usable and fun. As former director of UX at Epic Games and PhD in psychology, Celia Hodent will explain her UX framework (which was used during the development of Fortnite) and offer a list of ingredients for game developers to create their own successful game recipe. The UX mindset being about putting humans first, she will also propose some ethical considerations for the video game industry.
