Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow review of Falsion for Famicom Disk System developed and published by Konami.

Unlike the conventional horizontal-scrolling or vertical-scrolling systems of other SHMUPs of the era, Falsion takes a Space-Harrier-style view behind the pilot as enemies emerge from the far distance (or even behind your craft). Using speed boosts and homing fire, you have to survive the onslaught as best you can, while avoiding obstacles and incoming ordnance. While it was designed for the Famicom 3D System, there's a conventional mode available as well; the only real difference is in the flickering of the display to accommodate the peripheral. The game plays identically in both forms.

This video review features video gameplay footage of Falsion for Famicom and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's TJ.
