Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow review of Cube Tactics on the eShop for the Nintendo 3DS developed by Fun Unit and published by Teyon.
Take to the cube of battle in Cube Tactics! In this unique puzzler/strategy game, players go to war on a battlefield comprised entirely of floating cubes. The objective is to protect your own core cube and to destroy your opponent's. Each cube you place on the board has a different property, from plain grass cubes to barricade cubes. More importantly, there are also cubes that spawn various types of soldiers. Cube Tactics is all about building the right armies in the right places, as well as creating a battlefield that's advantageous to your team. Cube Tactics features a quest that includes 25 levels, as well as online multiplayer. Collect medals to upgrade your arsenal and bring down the pink team! More like the magenta team, actually. Weird color choice for an army.
