Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow video review of Final Fantasy VI Advance for Game Boy Advance, developed by TOSE and published by Nintendo. (That's right, Square Enix doesn't actually get a spot in this block, and yes, that's strange.)
Final Fantasy VI Advance was pretty much inevitable. FFIV and FFV had their GBA remakes, so it was only a matter of time until that same lens was trained on what some consider to be the most iconic RPG of the 16-bit era. But while the prior two entries had a laundry list of changes made to update them, FFVI emerges relatively unscathed... though some of the more famous lines from the original translation are conspicuously missing.
