Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow review of Final Fantasy VIII for PC developed and published by Square Enix.
Final Fantasy VIII might be the most divisive of Final Fantasies, but now you can play it on your Steam-powered devices in this update of the old Eidos PC version. It incorporates Steam's integrated community and achievements into the package which included the first US appearance of the Sony PocketStation game Chocobo World. Say what you will about the game, but this release is able to bring more than its PlayStation equivalent. (And you can just mod in the rest.)
