Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow review of Loaded for the PlayStation developed by Gremlin Interactive and published by Interplay Entertainment.

Loaded is about as mid-1990s as video games can possibly get. Blocky graphics, a giddy obsession with gore and poorly aged controls—it's all there! Loaded is a top-down shooter set in the future. Each of the game's six playable characters has a gun, and that's pretty much all that matters. Players spray bullets everywhere as enemies attack from every angle, a gameplay style that dates all the way back to classics like Robotron: 2084. Only Robotron was never quite this bloody. Loaded is a deliberate celebration of blood and the squishy sound a body makes when bullets tear through it. That's kind of disgusting, so Loaded certainly isn't a game for the queasy. Mow down underground monsters, deranged mental patients in straightjackets and all kinds of cool bad guys as you strive for vengeange! Loaded features both single-player and local multiplayer play.

This video review features video gameplay footage of Loaded for the PlayStation and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Derek.
