Monopoly review. Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow review of Monopoly for Nintendo Game Boy developed by Sculptured Software and published by Parker Bros.

Monopoly - arguably the most famous board game this side of chess - struggles sometimes with obtuse rules, fiddly calculations, and a long playtime due to having to search for deeds, analyze the board state, and so on. A digital representation was welcome, and thus the NES (and later this Game Boy) version were met with enthusiasm in 1991. Though these early versions weren't able to include the familiar "house rules" popular with most players, they did manage to teach the rules... even the ones no one could really remember.

This video review features video gameplay footage of Monopoly for Game Boy and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's TJ.
