Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow review of Pac-Man Pinball Advance for the Game Boy Advance developed by HumanSoft and published by Namco.

Pac-Man Pinball Advance is a pinball game with a Pac-Man theme. At least, ostensibly so. There are ghosts you can eat, and sometimes, there's fruit. Being a yellow ball, Pac-Man is at least a natural fit for pinball. The famous ghosts has kidnapped the citizens of Pac-Man, and it's up to Pac-Man to stop them...by turning into a pinball. Makes sense. The game incorporates Pac-Man themes into the context of pinball, but only on a superficial level. The game itself feels like it could've been any pinball game, with the Pac-Man license simply slapped on. Pac-Man Pinball Advance also struggles with bad ball physics and generic tables, but if you're really into both pinball and Pac-Man, it's at least worth a look.

This video review features video gameplay footage of Pac-Man Pinball Advance for the Game Boy Advance and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Derek.
