Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow review of Star Trek Online for PC developed by Cryptic Studios and published Perfect World Entertainment.
Star Trek Online: is a Sci-Fi MMORPG that is set in the 25th century. It is an MMORPG and gives the player 3 races to choose from: The Federation, Klingons, and Romulans. The game features two types of gameplay, Space and Ground. In space one controls a starship and the gameplay is somewhat similar to Starfleet Command 3. On ground the game controls like a standard third person shooter. The game features several different types of currency, with the most important being Dilithium. This currency is used to buy ship upgrades and new ships entirely. This can only be acquired by doing certain select missions and mulitplayer missions.
