Super R.C. Pro-Am review. Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow review of Super R.C. Pro-Am for the Game Boy developed by Rare and published by Nintendo.

Even before classics like Battletoads and Donkey Kong Country, Rare was still releasing fun Nintendo games. And Super R.C. Pro-Am is one of them. A follow-up to the NES racer, Super R.C. Pro-Am is a retro-styled racing game that plays from an angled top-down perspective. The game’s presentation was top-notch for its platform, but its most distinguishing feature is how it handles—the cars are incredibly “slidey,” and the drifting mechanics require a lot of practice to learn. The game also supports the Game Boy link cable, which means you can play with up to four players. Which is awesome. Super R.C. Pro-Am is a solid Nintendo racer from a company that would soon release some Nintendo masterpieces.

This video review features video gameplay footage of Super R.C. Pro-Am for the Game Boy and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Derek.
