The Lord of the Rings: The Third Age review. Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow review of The Lord of the Rings: The Third Age for the PlayStation 2 developed and published by Electronic Arts.

The Lord of the Rings: The Third Age takes place in the same time as the Lord of the Rings film trilogy. In fact, it's set parallel to the events of the movies. You play as a separate group of characters, travelling just behind the fellowship. The game features lots of turn-based combat and leveling up, but it's hardly a complex RPG. In fact, The Third Age is more of an RPG lite, a more accessible take on the genre for fans of the movie. Play alone or cooperatively as you travel through Middle Earth!

This video review features video gameplay footage of The Lord of the Rings: The Third Age for the PlayStation 2 and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Derek.
