Vexen is mad, and he's out to kill you. And it's no joke. This is a big leap from the previous bosses.

He's got 2 new Sleights: Iceburn and Ice Needles.
Iceburn makes parts of the floor freeze, and Sora will slip on them if you want to walk there, successfully hindering your escape and dodge attempts. Avoid there areas. If you're low on 0 cards you might want to skip breaking this sleight, since it's not really dangerous. Also, if you're using sleights that move you, you won't slip on the floor.
Ice Needles makes Vexen send out a long trail of (surprise!) ice needles. They're just as fast as you, and will catch up when you slow down to turn. Though you can outrun them, I'd personally advise to card break it. It's safer.

Besides that he still has everything he has from the previous battle, Freeze, Blizzard and the shield swing (and he'll use this to combo you if he gets the chance, so watch out.)
At the start of the battle he'll use his enemy card. It gives him Auto-Life. When you kill him he'll get back half of a life bar. It's a perfect target for a Parasite Cage if you have it in the deck. Besides that, he's got Item braces (you can't break his items) and Blizzard Boost (self explanatory).

He still has his trademark shield, and he still blocks frontal attacks. You should still use Sleights, magic and summon cards over normal attacks. His sleights are not that hard to dodge or break, so keep your cool and try to control the battle. Be prepared for greater battles ahead.

PS: Yes, I know. I'm VERY overleveled for this fight. The reason behind that is because Twilight Town has a Key to Rewards room that requires a blue card = 8, and a red card = 1 is addition to a bunch of green cards. I didn't have the blue and red cards, so I had to fight a lot to find them. A LOT! Like... 100 minutes or something. And this is the result -_-
Why didn't they add Joker Cards here? T.T
