Of course you have to have your console connected to the PC and your console must have been previously modded in order to enable such connections as FTP and SSH. And a quick edit to the open question of whether it would keep the settings after reinserting the USB stick or if you'd have to do it all over again and the answer is: yes. You will only need to do this once, or at least until the next BleemSync update. So, as always, MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A BACKUP. OF EVERYTHING!..........ALWAYS!
