Changes I Would Make to Heart of the Swarm
44How to make StarCraft II: Heart of the Swarm more interesting (at least as a Zerg player). What I think needs to change to make the game more interesting and fun, now keep in mind this is all from a Zerg point of view! So this might bring some huge imbalances and what not.
Nydus network
- Small units should pop out quicker than big units.
- You should be able to cancel building Nydus Networks.
- Reduce the gas cost of Nydus Networks.
- Make putting units into the Nydus network faster.
Corrupter
- Boring unit.
- Redesign this thing.
ZvZ
- Lower baneling health but up their base speed, making Ling Bling battles much more interesting.
- Change Swarm Hosts to hit air, this should deal with the mass Mutalisk madness.
- OR change the Corrupter to same speed as Muta, so it makes muta vs muta dynamic.
ZvT
- Change the widow mine: Easy to use, hard to counter, especially true in lower leagues.
- Make bunker salvaging more expensive but make them have defense on top, for a cost, like in the Single Player of Wings of Liberty.
- Remove the Planetary Fortress.
- Make the Hellbat mechanical
- Nerf ultras, too strong versus Bio units.
- Up Viper health, make the blinding cloud smaller, reduce abduct energy cost.
ZvP
- Change the colossus, it makes sure that Zerg cant attack up ramps and deny bases easily.
- Buff the Archons potentially instead, maybe in speed, reduce size or up single target damage output.
- Reduce Spine Crawler damage.
- Reduce Cannon damage.
