In Cyprus, recent changes to UN peacekeeping duties means that for the first time in 14 years a regular infantry battalion has been on operations in the buffer zone.

The 1st Battalion the Irish Guards and members of the London Regiment are now a month into their tour, it is the first time regulars and reservists have been fully integrated for the role.

Carla Prater reports on how the mission has attracted the attention of some important visitors.
