Pax vobiscum!

Today we continue our discussion of "Character - The Grandest Thing In The World", a book written by Orison Swett Marden and published in 1899. This is a fascinating book, and is labeled by many as one of the first of a wave of self-help type books that swept late 1800's America.

Chapter 4 discusses the concept of "the North Star Course", with stories of great service and kindness. Marden also seems to introduce a definition of "self-love" and the goodness from helping others through service, whether your help is acknowledged or not.

What does the phrase "north star course" mean to you?
