Pax vobiscum!

Today we continue our discussion of "Character - The Grandest Thing In The World", a book written by Orison Swett Marden and published in 1899. This is a fascinating book, and is labeled by many as one of the first of a wave of self-help type books that swept late 1800's America.

Chapter 7 is titled, "The Wealth of the Commonwealth", and discusses richness. Richness not necessarily of money or material goods, but of character. Marden shows how money, while useful, is not the end all be all solution, and that it is possible to be rich in other ways (and indeed, these are the riches, of character and integrity, that are superior to any amount of material wealth).
