Now we're getting into the real "Metroidvania" stuff. The backtracking, the multiple pathways to go, the various movement tech to unlock different areas. It's a lot of fun. Though I did hit one section that seemed unbalanced to me. The enemies were just giving way too much experience compared to everything else I fought. A place I could, and did, grind for a few quick levels. Too quick. Oh well. I'm still not entirely sure what all the randomization does, but it does ultimately hurt when it means you can get items "out of order" power wise. Such as the sword I got as a drop that I found a few other weaker weapons after, and then nearly an hour later the same sword in a chest. Yea... Unbalanced when that happens. It's virtually impossible to properly balance a roguelite, which is why a well crafted hand-done map will always be superior.
