In this video I take a look at Gladiabots* a robot combat arena game.
In this game you need to program an AI for your squad of bots to attack the enemies bots. It has a single player campaign and multiplayer. It is very well made and if you read all the positive reviews seems to appeal largely to the programmer demographics and unfortunately my experience was similar. As I'm not a programmer I found it very hard to get the bots to do what I wanted. It's a shame as it looks very good but the AI is overly complicated for the general user and I'd love to see an arcade version of the game with a simplified AI. I don't think it needs to be this complicated but the developers have really ran with the AI as a programming language rather than a game play mechanic. Programmers love it though so if you fancy yourself one then check it out.
