In this video I take a look at Just Ride：Apparent Horizon* a motorbike survival game.
This game is gradually getting translated from Chinese and it's quite impressive.
It's set in a bleak future where bike gangs are used to hack systems and violently control society. After a botched job you find yourself forcefully recruited into an elite group with a maximum life span of 2 years. Fitted with an exploding collar you have to perform jobs for them while trying to unlock the secrets of this covert world.
It has an open world and RPG elements. You can upgrade your bike and collect new bikes and you can buy different items to equip for your missions. You have to manage your own need such as food and even sex drive plus manage fuel for your bike. The story is intense and very cool just like the game play. The graphics are very well done and most translation appears complete apart form the voice overs. I was left very impressed. Play the tutorial first so you can learn how to ride properly and you should really enjoy yourself. It's not perfect but it's close to it and I think it's great and well worth trying.
