GRIP: Combat Racing is a really exciting high paced racing game where they claim the cars have such great down force that gravity no longer exists for them meaning you can drive upside down on the roof!

Just playing the tutorial level to learn the basics was great fun. It's very fast and you often flip your car or end up on the roof but they keep driving regardless, it's really cool.

The game play has three different primary modes--

*Firstly there is Race mode with four different sub modes- Classic Race, Ultimate Race (speed and strength through combat count here), Elimination Race, and Speed Demon (no weaspons). If you want to read there full descriptions you can see them at 45:15:00 in the video.

*Second is Arena with three different sub mode- Deathmatch, Steal the Stash, and Time Bomb. Full descriptions at 45:19:00

*And thirdly there is Carkour with no sub modes. In this you try to grab the collectibles in a taxing course.

The game also has a single player campaign that I am told will unlock when it leaves Early Access in a day or so but it was unfortunatly locked when I tried it so I played a few of the other modes to get a feel for the game.

There is also local split screen multiplayer and online multiplayer with upto 10 players.

It's really fantastic high paced action. I really enjoyed playing it but it can get a bit frustraiting when you strike something and fall to the end of the pack. It can really help to learn the courses and select a car with good handling. I tried one with great top speed initially and couldn't win a race so I tried one with lower top speed and great handling and straigh away I found it easier to drive and won a race. It's definitly tactical as much as it is speed, and don't forget you try to blow each other up as you drive. There are 9 different pickups during the races including weapons, shields, and speed boosts.
