KartKraft* is a realistic go cart racing simulator.

It is shaping up to be a fantastic game with really good driving physics and a very proffessional look and feel to it but unfortunatly it is still very early in developement. Currently it only offers time trials with leader boards. Group racing and what looks like an eventual shop and cart upgrade system only consists of menues with nothing but the basic, already installed cart parts. The time trials are great though. Mastering the handling of the carts is really fun and it was great to see Geelong, a track that is a short drive from me, in the game. I wonder if I squinted would I see my car drive by in the back ground? My only complaint about the already implemented game play is that you can easily make a lap invalid by sliding off the track for a second but you still need to complete the current lap before you can try again. Some might enjoy this for practice but it needs an easily accessible lap reset (not just the cart reset - space bar) to keep the game play flowing.

It's definitly a game to keep an eye on and if your keen on cart racing supporting the developers wouldn't go astray but don't expect a complete game yet.
