Military chefs from Bergen-Hohne Garrison have been putting their culinary skills to the test on Exercise Rats Caterer.

Teams were given basic ration packs and a few extra, fresh ingredients to prepare a meal for 30 troops.

As well as producing delicious, nutritious food, judges were looking for the ability to run a kitchen in any situation.
