Tributes have been paid to the six soldiers killed when their Warrior armoured vehicle was hit by an explosion in Afghanistan.
The soldier from 1st Battalion the Duke of Lancaster's regiment who died was Sergeant Nigel Coupe, 33. He was on secondment to 3 Yorks.
The five soldiers who died with him from 3rd Battalion the Yorkshire Regiment were: Corporal Jake Hartley, Private Thomas Anthony Frampton, Private Daniel Wade, all aged 20, together with Private Christopher Kershaw, 19 and Private Daniel Wilford, 21.
Their deaths take the total number of British forces personnel or MOD civilians who have died while serving in the war-torn region to more than 400 since the start of operations in October 2001.
