UNBELIEVABLY GORY first-person shooter! Take aim at various targets (innocents or sinister creatures) and thin out the required amount of targets before the timer runs out (if it does your game ends, though you can continue on the stage where you left off). The 4 stages are a guillotine room (with a guillotine and a head press!), a rack room (with the racks, a guy throwing a dagger, and a guy that can be lowered into the jaws of a hungry alligator!), a dungeon room (where ghosts, giant ghoul heads and a wolf pop out), and a graveyard (ghouls emerging from the ground, heads on spikes, a woman that you can blast away until only her torso remains, and other yummy surprises). There are 8 secret targets on each stage, and if you uncover all on one stage you play a special bonus stage (a slot machine) for extra points or a free game! If all 4 stages have all 8 special targets uncovered, you play a target practice game until you miss. Then you start the level's hidden targets all over again. The disgusting shenanigans you get to take part in are not for weak stomachs! Decapitations, crushed heads, pulled apart bodies, people eaten by monsters, bodies blown apart, splattered organs, etc. Certainly unheard of gore for 1986, but it's definitely playable and I like it in a very demented way. For 1 player or 2 players alternating turns each stage. Happy (almost) Halloween folks!
