Part 4: A Future with No Hope
We arrive now in some post-apocalyptic world of 2300 AD. In this world, humanity is trying to survive with what little they have. When we arrive, they find that humanity doesn’t have much food and Arris Dome doesn’t have it. So we go to Trann Dome by passing through Area 16. Area 16 has a lot of mutants who can bring trouble. Watch yourself. When we arrive at Trann Dome, the people are impressed but now a new mission commences and it’s to find food but when we investigate down there, we find trouble.
A Guardian is in the way and it’s packed with 2 Bits by its side. Don’t attack the Guardian when the Bits are there. They will form a Delta Attack that will damage the party. Instead, take down the bits one by one. When they are both defeated, focus on the Guardian itself. It’ll count down a timer. When it hits 0, the Bits will regenerate and you have to do it again. Repeat until the Guardian is defeated. When they reach the food plant, they find the Food is beyond expired but there’s a Seed.
Our work isn’t finished. Using a special passcode, we access an area that can give us a way to head home. It’s spotted in Proto Dome but what the others find is a bit terrifying. They learn of how the world became this way due to the Day of Lavos. In 1999, Lavos emerges from the planet and destroys it driving humanity to where they are now. Marle sees it and doesn’t want this to happen so she convinces Crono and Lucca to see if it can be changed. They both agree and the two head back. They meet with the Elder and show them the seed. But they also tell them not to lose hope. Hopefully this can give humanity a chance.
Our work isn’t finished. We’ll head onward in Part 5: Robo and the Derelict Factory.
