Hey everybody and welcome to Chrono Trigger! This is one of my favorite RPGs and probably one of the best RPGs ever made! Its a Super Nintendo classic but this is actually the PS1 version we are playing cause it has higher quality audio and a few other benefits, but it also has a downfall, longer load times. Starting off our adventure in Guardia, our mom wakes us up for the Millennial Fair so its time to get some free stuff and then head that way! Very first thing we need to do is run into Marle and talk to her BEFORE you grab the pendant! Actions taken here at the fair affect future events so its super important you do them in the right way. Grab the cat for the little girl before you talk to her and that will help later. Also do not eat the lunch on the table because the old man will get angry. Time to grind Gato and get some Silver Points for some muns so we can buy the good sword! Got bored of fighting Gato so lets head to Guardia Forest and kill some stuff there! After grinding a bit more lets head to Melchoir at the fair and get our Lode Sword! Alright plot advance time! Make sure you wait for Marle to buy her candy before you run to the next area. Hello Lucca lets see your invention! Teleportation. Neat. Of course something has to go wrong and Marle disappears into a strange gate that appeared from the telepods. Crono picks up the pendant and we are off to Truce Canyon in 600 A.D. Time travel is fun! After my terrible Katamari Damacy singing its time to leave the canyon and head into the new world, well the old one. Heading through the forest once again, we arrive at Guardia Castle where we are allowed entry by Queen Leene. Grabbing the goodies we head up to her room to find out its actually Marle, who was confused for her ancestor from 400 years ago. But she quickly disappears for unknown reasons! Lucca appears and catches us up on the situation so now we have to go find and rescue the real Leene! The Cathedral is our next location of interest, where we find a pin on the ground belonging to Leene! The nuns quickly reveal themselves as Naga-ettes so we dispatch them and Frog aka Glenn joins our party! Ooooo secret organ passage! Neato! There are lots of goodies to find here including the Naga-ette Bromide which we will need for later! Finally making it to the end of the Cathedral we meet up with the big bad disguised as the Chancellor, Yakra! Hes really not that big of a deal with us being over leveled and over geared. The Queen is safe and now its time to add Marle back into our party! Frog leaves us for the time being and we head back to the Time Gate that lead us to the past to get back to our own time. Lucca has invented the Gate Key which lets us travel freely through these so good job there! Back in the present it is time to end the stream just outside Guardia Castle, so tune in next time for more time travel antics!
