Hey guys and welcome back for more Chrono Trigger! Last time we left off in the present just outside of Guardia Castle in the present day of 1000 A.D. Heading inside the Chancellor believes we kidnapped Marle aka Princess Nadia. We go to the trail and this is what all the choices at the fair at the start of the game affected and the verdict is not guilty buy we get arrested and sent to be executed anyway. Bummer. For winning at the trial we get some goodies left in our prison cell and then we await our execution date. Lucca busts in and saves our hide and we have to make our escape, but not before grabbing all the loot from the prison that we can and fighting a few enemies along the way! Saving Fritz allows us to get some items later in the game so be sure to let him out. As we head across the final bridge to freedom, the Dragon Tank rolls out to impede our escape. This boss isnt particularly hard but it is rather annoying with the constant healing so just use cyclone and keep attacking the head till it is dead to stop the healing.Crono then stabs and destroys the tank and the Chancellor and two guards make a nice bridge for us to cross how convenient! Our only way it is through a Time Gate and we have no idea where it will send us. We arrive in the post apocalyptic Future Era of 2300 A.D. and get a lay of the land. Trann Dome is up first, not much to do here but rest and there is an item shop with some upgrades. Heading through Lab 16 we grab some items fight some enemies and continue on our journey.We next arrive at the Arris Dome and meet up with some more humans and head down into the storage below the dome to find them some food! Doan is an important character he is one of the descendants of Guardia way down the line. Time for a boss fight with the Guardian and its two Bits. I actually really like this boss fight for once. Make sure to kill off the Bits before you attack the main boss or it will do an attack that hurts very much on the whole party. The food has gone bad after the refrigeration has failed so we find some seeds for the people to grow their own food. Time to catch this rat and find out what it knows! Through the secret passage we find a computer with the knowledge of where our next gate is, as well as finding out what happened to this world. Lavos came in 1999 A.D. and destroyed everything so our new goal is stop this from occuring, enter the big bad of the whole game! we can advance the plot, but first we are going to trek through the sewer access so we can get some items and make it easier on ourselves later down the road. Another boss fight this time with Krawlie, hes not too much harder than a normal enemy so just kick his butt and let us move on! Not much to do in the Keeper's Dome or Mount Woe at the moment but theyll be plot relevant later in the story! Back through the sewers we have to race Johnny in probably the most annoying minigame ever made. We finally make it to the Proto Dome and get some marvelous PS1 FMV when meeting up with Robo! And with that we will end the stream there so tune in next time to see how we get out of the future and back home!
