Chrono Trigger - stream 14
6Recap: Making one final charge toward Lavos, the party chooses to crash the Epoch directly into him, breaking through the shell. They find what appears to be a humanoid creature inside, encased in armor and tubes connected to the rest of the organism. Breaking the armor reveals the true form of Lavos, who comes to a planet to slowly consume its energy, spreading its spawn across the universe to do the same to other planets. Lavos's core is destroyed, removing him from history and saving the future from destruction.
Afterward, Crono awakens in his bed to a Guardia soldier telling him that his stay of execution has been canceled, and he's escorted to the castle. Instead, he's surprised by Lucca having brought together all of their friends from across time for a celebration. On the final night of the Millenial Fair, the castle puts on the Moonlight Parade, now in Crono's honor.
After the celebration, the entire party gathers at the Telepod, where the final time gate is weakening and about to close. Everyone says their goodbyes and returns to their own time. Lucca worries about Robo, since his future was most drastically changed, but he departs anyway, confident that he'll have a place in the new future.
King Guardia present Marle with a gift, a new bell to replace the 400-year-old Leene's Bell, which would bear her name and ring for peace across the land. As she mounts the bell, she begins to float away on the balloons used to lift it. Crono jumps up to help her, and the two soar high above the land in the moonlight.
...also, New Game + is started. Crono acts as suspicious as possible while meeting princess Nadia at the fairgrounds, then disappears with her to fight Lavos through a new gate created by the Telepod. Developer room ending is accessed.
