I'm using the Skilled patch, which creates a nice balance by nerfing the fast characters' speed stats. The enemy speed increases make things a fair bit more challenging. I think the Veteran patch goes a bit too far, as it reduces Robo's speed, who I've always been hesitant to use for his already low speed. That's more of a me thing, but its why i chose the Skilled patch.

Dual techs were already strong, particularly against enemies or bosses with counters, but now they're extremely overpowered. I should not be doing over 100 damage to all enemies in a circle at level 5.

Lucca still feels very underpowered. She needs speed +1 and higher hit.

1:11:29 Yakra
This is how I handle him normally, hit him with X-Strike and Fire Toss and heal when i'm below 50 HP. He counters your physical hits, but he's pretty weak and shouldn't pose a threat unless you're getting really carried away.

1:53:49 Dragon Tank
The head definitely heals the part faster, but still easy. Same strategy as above but without Frog, and he hits harder so i should really be healing under 80 HP this time instead but its still not too difficult.

2:18:56 Guardian
Ah, my first game over on OG. Just get rid of the bits before going ham on the body. I did end up accidentally attacked while it revived the bits, but still nothing too bad, same strategy on normal, heal if i'm below 50 HP.

We go from my first death on original to my first in the hack. I got super greedy since i only needed one more Fire Whirl to win. This is where the speed difference for enemies in the original really starts to show. All I needed to do was chill a bit and not just go in guns blazing.
