8Some steps forward, a set of six baby-blue robots appear and they attack Robo for defiling the place with humans. After they're done with him, they want to kill our remaining party members but they're not strong enough so that we emerge victorious. Robo gets dragged back to the Proto Dome and Lucca repairs him once again. Also, Robo decides to join us for the rest of our journey. We step through the time gate in the Proto Dome but appear in some weird place. An old man here tells us that this is the End of Time and that we're here because we tried to time travel with four members. I consider this the real start of the game. From the End of Time, you can access many other time warps to different times and you can also do something else which I will show you in the next video. Before doing that, I go to the back room and meet Spekkio who teaches us magic. I was afraid Fraps would start cutting out footage again if I let the video last for much longer, so I stopped in the middle of the fight.
Note on Spekkio: Spekkio is your basic magic teacher in the game. Whenever you visit him, characters that cannot use magic yet will learn to do so. During the game, Spekkio will change his form depending on your level. Usually, you will see him in this form (the one you see in the video) when you first visit him. However, many do not know that this is already his second form. His first form only shows if you're seriously underleveled and he will take the shape of a small green frog. I think he's got 4 or 5 different forms and his magic gets stronger everytime he transforms. If you beat a certain form of Spekkio once, he will award you with some items and usually also a Magic or Power Tab.
