The Original Game Boy is one of the biggest 'game changers' in the history of video games, and essentially ushered in the popularity of handheld games. There are many games that will be classic forever. There are, however, a much, much higher number of simply awful, forgettable, or downright weird games. CiB Game Boy Theater shows you some of the games you might not (and shouldn't be...) familiar with.

NFL Football is made by Konami, so if you're looking for quality, look elsewhere. I appreciate what this game tried to do. It tried to do solid 11 on 11 football on the Game Boy. Maybe it was even impressive back then, because we didn't really care that much about framerate issues. But for current times, this game is awful. It's virtually unplayable - everything is so slow, the framerate is so choppy --- we've seen better NFL games on the Game Boy.

Okay, yeah, Terminator 2 -is- published by LJN, but this is by no means even close to the worst game we've seen on Game Boy Theater. For the first level, I STILL don't know where Sarah Connor is. Maybe when I skipped the opening scene, that's where she tells you to shoot the towers in certain ways. Otherwise... why? Why would you design the game that way? If you shoot those towers in the wrong order, enjoy getting a game over in literally 45 seconds.

That being said, and I realize we are dealing with a low bar here, this is definitely an average Game Boy game. At least it has a variety in the levels. Thanks for watching!
