CiB Let's Try - Action Man: Operation Extreme (PS1)
Action Man: Operation Extreme was released in 2000 for the PS1, developed by Interactive Studios (re-named eventually to Blitz Game Studios), who also developed Glover, Judge Dredd, WarGames: Defcon 1, a bunch of shovelware, and they are now defunct. It was published by Hasbro, who published Indigo Prophecy for PC, a few Alone in the Dark Games, and a bunch of garbage.
Okay, as far as I can tell, this Action Man is unrelated to the Action Man which was kind of like a G.I. Joe action figure that was popular in England... except the toy was also made by Hasbro, so if anyone has any information on this, let us know.
The game itself is MUCH less interesting than the development/publishing history. We will give major props to the opening menu / select room. That's way over the top, and you have to love it. The game is essentially unplayable by 2021 standards, but there is another Action Man game that was PAL-only if that's your thing. Thanks for watching!
