Cel Damage was released for the Gamecube on January 7, 2002. It was first released on Original Xbox on November 15, 2001, making it an Original Xbox launch title! For some reason, it did not receive a version on the super popular Playstation 2.

Cel Damage was developed by Psuedo Interactive, who also developed Full Auto and Full Auto 2, which was all the games they ever did. Clearly, they enjoyed making vehicular combat games. Cel Damage was published by Electronic Arts... for some reason.

Anyway, those two above paragraphs are about as interesting as this game is. I can't believe I'm saying this, but I expected better. The only story you (seemingly) get is those 15-30 second opening cutscenes, and then you're thrown into a very sub-par Twisted Metal game.

As we mentioned, the quick turn move is awesome, but everything else is very, very lackluster. Cel Damage also somehow makes cel-shaded graphics look unappealing, which I didn't think was possible. I would avoid this one, unless you are collecting -- luckily, it can be had for cheap! Thanks for watching!
