X-Kaliber 2097 was released as a Super Nintendo exclusive in February, 1994. It was developed by Fupac (this might be the only game they ever made that got released in the US) and published by Activision.

This is a weird game in all senses. It's odd that it was made by a Japanese developer, with a very Japanese art style, and it's even more odd that it's published by Activision.

Beyond that, X-Kaliber 2097 is a pretty solid hack and slash, and a below average fighting game -- the levels are really solid, and the boss fights are not very good at all, unfortunately. That being said, this is a pretty unique game, and definitely one you should check out if this mixture of genres interests you -- thanks for watching!
