CiB Let's Try - Charlie Blast's Territory (N64)
Charlie Blast's Territory was released at some point in 1999 as a Nintendo 64 exclusive. It was developed by Realtime Associates, Inc, who developed a bunch of licensed games - Casper, Sesame Street, but also Gex for some reason -- they might even still exist as a company! It was published by Kemco USA, who published a bunch of published games, such as Woody Woodpecker and the infamously bad Batman Dark Tomorrow.
Before I forget, I want to mention that this game does not (as far as I can tell) have a Wikipedia article, so I had to do my research on MobyGames, which is a fantastic reference for otherwise unknown games.
Unfortunately, I have less to say about the game itself than I do about the developer and publisher combination. Charlie Blast's Territory is a puzzle game that is a mix of Bomberman (kiiiinda) and Sokobon (puzzle games where you can push, but not pull objects). It delivers exactly what is promised in that sentence, and also has a multiplayer mode, because almost every N64 game needed some sort of multiplayer mode.
I would consider this to be a pretty obscure game, but one that people don't altogether care about -- I think I can see why. Regardless, thanks for watching!
