Hydro Thunder was released for the N64 on March 6, 2000 - it also received a Playstation 1 version the same day, and a Dreamcast version on the system's launch day - 9/9/99. It was developed and published by Midway, who brought you pretty much every arcade port of the late 90s.

I've always seen this game was a bit up there in price (especially for the Dreamcast), so I always assumed the best from it -- and coming from this with no nostalgia at all, I can say this is one of the weaker Midway N64 games that I've experienced.

The multiplayer mode (especially 2 players) is really lacking, although the single player mode with 16 overall vehicles definitely delivers the fast action I was expecting. Overall, Hydro Thunder is okay, even in (Current Year), but it doesn't blow me away like I thought it would. Regardless, thanks for watching!
