Darkstalkers 3 was released on the PS1 on November 30, 1998 -- it was also on the Sega Saturn in Japan, as well as in arcades. It was developed and published by Capcom.

This is my first experience with a Darkstalkers game, and I am very impressed, especially given the age of the game. As we say every time, we are not very knowledgeable about 2D fighting games, so a lot of nuances are lost on us (especially Spenser).

Still, the character editor is cool, even if we didn't find out how to implement it, and the game runs very smooth, controls great, and looks awesome. My only complaint as always is that I would like to see some sort of story mode to give a little more flair to the game. That being said, maybe someday we'll come across other Darkstalkers games so we can compare to this one -- thanks for watching!
