CiB Let's Try - Fatal Fury: Mark of the Wolves (Dreamcast)
Fatal Fury: Mark of the Wolves (known in Japan was Garou: Mark of the Wolves) was first released as an arcade game, then ported to the Dreamcast in the year 2000. It was developed by SNK and the Dreamcast port was published by our friends at AgeTec.
Contrary to what we were saying during the video, this game does count as a mainline Fatal Fury game, despite having the Mark of the Wolves subtitle.
Well, here we are, CiB Let's Try 2D fighter number 40 million (maybe one day I'll add it up, but there are over 375 videos in the Let's Try playlist lol). It's a pretty solid game overall -- it plays well, it has good frames of animation, and the special moves are very cool. The stand-out part of the game is the backgrounds - they are extremely vibrant and detailed.
As always, we have to mention that we are by no means 2D fighting game masters -- this could be one of the best 2D fighters ever made, and we wouldn't know the intricate details as to why. Still, for our Layman opinion, this is a pretty solid game. Thanks for watching!
