CiB Let's Try - Cannon Spike (Dreamcast)
Cannon Spike was first released as an arcade game in early 2000, then ported to the Dreamcast as a console exclusive on November 15, 2000. It was developed by Psikyo, who is probably best known for the Aero Fighters series (Aero Fighters is generally considered the most expensive normal release on the SNES, so...). Cannon Spike was published by Capcom.
Okay, the fact that this game is so rare and expensive makes absolute and total sense now:
-Released on a system that was essentially already dead at that point
-Very Japanese-looking game that has Cammy from Street Fighter but isn't even close to Street Fighter
-Developed by Psikyo, who made a bunch of games that ended up being very expensive and rare
-A very, very niche arcade port
Cannon Spike itself is a really fun arcade port -- our only major complaint (and you probably heard it 10 times in the video) is that the Dreamcast only having one control stick makes this twin-stick shooter much more difficult than it should be to aim. Beyond that, this is a really solid pure fun game that definitely isn't worth the price of actually purchasing it physically, but is worth your time to play any way you can!
