CiB Let's Try - Project Justice (Dreamcast)
Project Justice was first released as an arcade game in the year 2000, eventually brought to the Dreamcast as a console exclusive on May 16, 2001, making this a fairly late release Dreamcast game. It was both developed and published by Capcom.
Those familiar with the channel, and especially our Let's Try videos know we have played a ton of both 2D and 3D fighters from the PS1/Dreamcast/PS2 eras through the years. Of the ones we haven't heard of before, most of them are just awful, some blend into the wallpaper, and some, like Project Justice, are actually pretty good!
Again, being a late-release Dreamcast game, it makes sense that it sold pretty poorly, but there is a really solid fighting game here - and what's this? -- an actual story in a fighting game from this era? Yeah, it's just title cards and some text, but it's a story! That's all I really ever ask for when I mention wanting just -some sort of story in the arcade mode of a fighting game.
Overall, this one likely isn't worth the price of admission for the physical disc, but it's definitely one you should try out any way you can -- thanks for watching!
