NBA Hoopz was developed and published by Midway, and released for the PS1 in 2001. Midway, of course, made NBA Jam and NBA Hangtime.

I gotta say, I'm overall pretty disappointed - it's cool to see the 3-on-3 style basketball, but it just misses something compared to Jam or Hangtime. The angle that you view the action at is pretty odd, as well.

Upon researching, it seems they have a PS2 version of this game - we'll have to check that out if it comes in store, and see if Midway just put all their effort into the PS2 one. Thanks for watching!
