The Phillips CD-i, released in 1991 for almost $1000, was supposed to be the next big thing in video games. It was one of the first systems that used CD technology, so surely, this would be all the rage, right?

With a library of games that have so little gameplay that they barely count as games, a frustrating controller, and no big system-sellers, it's no wonder the system failed. Now, we are here to bring you a lot of CD-i games you haven't seen - this is the bottom of the barrel, folks - it doesn't get much worse than this.

Okay, after two games that have absolutely zero gameplay, at least we have Pinball. By the way, it's officially called 'Pinball'. The title is just 'Pinball'. You expect to see that for NES or 2600, but games have been around for 15 years at this point.

Anyway, Pinball -technically- is the best game we've played so far on the CD-i - it is a game, at least. It's the most boring pinball game I've ever played, but at least it's a game. Maybe, just maybe, the $1000 in 1991 money will be worth it (it won't be).
