There are many games that will be classic forever. There are, however, a much, much higher number of simply awful, forgettable, or downright weird games. CiB Game Boy Theater shows you some of the games you might not (and shouldn't be...) familiar with.
Let's see here... Home Alone 2... movie-based game on the original Game Boy. Can I just NEXT this one? Well, I mean, what is there to talk about? It's a poorly-made left to right platformer, where movement feels funky. It's too hard, and you can't figure out where you're going. I can't get past the first level, cause it's not obvious at all what I am supposed to do. As we always say, WHO was this game made for? No one. NEXT!
Vegas Stakes - I'm sure this'll be ba- ... wait a minute. This game is GOOD? It has cutscenes, good graphics, a storyline (very small storyline, but one nonetheless) - what is this game, and why is it so relatively good? Yeah, it's Vegas stuff - poker, blackjack, etc - but it goes way above and beyond. For once, I am surprised in a good way. I'll even go as far to say this game is well-made and fun.
