Citadel is insolvent and the squeeze is coming!
Over the last 6 months Citadel has been acting very suspicious, losing 20% of their fund value if not more, restricting withdrawals, selling off $1bn of the business, taking a $600m loan and more.
Many Chinese IPO's have also been pumped as a liquidity grab, HKD, MEGL, JZ, GCT and now ATXG as well, its likely these IPO's are feeding money to the market makers and listing agents. What is most interesting, is that all these listing agents are inter-connected, and also connected to Citadel.
This seems to be a desperate panic to generate more liquidity to meet margin requirements in advance of phase 6 going live. Phase 6 is now live as of yesterday, but funds have 4 days to meet any margin calls received before liquidation actually takes place.
Phase 6 also may have not instantly margin called these funds, just brought them closer to the edge.
