Project Oslo is a short video series with the aim to recreate a believable copy of the Norwegian capital Oslo in Cities Skylines. The build is made for the Norwegian University of Life Sciences (NMBU), and will focus not on detailing and aesthetics but on infrastructure and urban design. Eventually, the map will be used to discuss urban development solutions in a new and hopefully fun way, in livestreams. I realize the description is still quite vague - that's because, at this moment at least, the project is still in preparation.

In this first video, I'm smoothing out the heightmap-generated cutout of the Oslo area, adding forests and lakes, and laying down the main highways and arterial roads of the city.
